Scott Wasserman

Scott Wasserman is a B2B marketing executive with 20 years of experience building demand generation functions, scaling pipeline, and restructuring marketing teams at SaaS and PE-backed companies. He has served as the first marketing hire, the CMO brought in after a PE acquisition, and the fractional leader deployed when growth stalls and the current team can't solve it.

Before that, Scott owned two businesses, including a Hair Club franchise he ran for nine years, before selling it to pursue his real passion: marketing.

Prior to founding Wasserman Revenue Advisors, Scott led marketing across healthcare SaaS, life sciences software, identity verification, fleet management, and B2B consulting practices, building programs from zero and restructuring teams he inherited. His work centers on one thing: replacing activity metrics with pipeline accountability.

What drives him is simple: he wants to see the companies he works with actually grow, not just look busy. That shows up in how he works, too. He's always testing something, a new tool, a new channel, a new way to run a funnel, because the only way to know what actually moves pipeline is to try it.

Boston born. Raleigh for nine years.

Scott was born and raised in Boston, but he's called the Raleigh area home for the past nine years. Ask him why, and he'll tell you he traded the cold and snow for sweet tea and sunshine.

He's a die hard Boston sports fan, a movie quote machine (ask Susan, his partner, she'll confirm most of what he says is a line from something), and he eats clean on the theory that food does more for you than anything in a pill bottle. When he's not working, he's on a bike, at the beach, or in the mountains, wherever the weather cooperates.

Then there's Jax, a five year old pit bull with a gorgeous brindle coat and zero chill when it comes to affection. He's a total velcro dog, fully convinced every human and animal he meets is a future best friend, and takes it personally if you walk by without saying hello. Thunder and fireworks don't faze him, but Ivy, Susan's cat, does. Every visit, Jax tries his luck, and every visit, Ivy puts him right back in his place. He never learns. We love him for it.

Precision over volume.
Pipeline over activity.

Less volume. More precision. The focus is on the work that creates pipeline, not the activity that looks like it.

Demand Generation

Dark social and demand gen programs that create pipeline, not just capture it. Built for buyers who research before they raise their hand.

ABM Strategy

Account-based programs aligned to high-intent, high-fit accounts. Signal-based targeting that gets sales focused on the right deals.

Marketing Team Builds

Audits, restructures, and builds of marketing functions. The right team, the right structure, the right accountability framework.

RevOps Alignment

Alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success, so pipeline metrics mean the same thing to everyone in the room.

Built for founders and operators under pressure to perform.

Wasserman Revenue Advisors works best with founders who need a marketing leader, not a marketing manager, and with PE-backed companies that need results on a timeline that matters.
